Overview

FieldAppCheck ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website.

Information We Collect

1) Diagnostic Answers (stored locally)

When you use our diagnostic tools, your answers are stored temporarily in your browser's session storage. This data:

  • is stored locally in your browser (on your device)
  • is used to calculate recommendations and display results
  • is not sent to our servers
  • is typically cleared when you close the tab/window or end the browsing session (you can also clear it via your browser settings)

We do not collect, store, or transmit your diagnostic answers to our servers or third parties.

2) Diagnostic Result Summary (optional aggregate measurement)

To understand how diagnostics are used and to improve them, we may collect a non-identifying summary event when a diagnostic result is generated. This summary may include:

  • which diagnostic was used (e.g., Calls & SMS / Payments / FSM)
  • the result type or recommended category (a short label)
  • basic attribution parameters (e.g., UTM source/medium/campaign), if present
  • a timestamp

We do not collect or store your full diagnostic answers as part of this summary. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or precise location through this summary event.

3) Analytics and Cookies

We may use analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as:

  • pages visited and time spent on pages
  • referral sources
  • browser and device information
  • approximate location (country/region level)

We use analytics data in aggregated form to improve the site. We do not use analytics to personally identify you.

4) Contact Information (if you contact us)

If you contact us (for example, by email or a contact form), we may receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and message content.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve our diagnostics and site content
  • understand how visitors use the site and identify areas for improvement
  • respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • measure high-level usage of diagnostic results (summary only, not full answers)

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics, hosting, and site operations. These providers may process information as described in their own privacy policies, including:

  • Google Analytics (website analytics)
  • Vercel (hosting and deployment)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Your Choices

You can:

  • disable cookies or delete existing cookies in your browser settings
  • opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out tools (where available)
  • clear your browser's site data/session storage to remove locally stored diagnostic answers

Data Retention

  • Diagnostic answers: stored locally on your device only; we do not retain them.
  • Diagnostic result summaries (if collected): kept only as long as needed for analytics and product improvement, then deleted or aggregated.
  • Contact messages: retained as long as needed to respond and for basic record-keeping.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

FieldAppCheck is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
