Job Photo List (Before/During/After)

PhotosBefore/During/AfterProof

A simple list of photos to take for every job: before (overall area, close-up of issue), during (key steps, parts, any unexpected issue), after (finished work, wide shot, clean area). Prevents 'it wasn't like that' and gives you proof for warranty and callbacks.

For teams dealing with 'it wasn't like that' disputes or missing proof when something goes wrong or the customer questions the work.

Next: Use it on every job for two weeks and store photos with the job record; then see if your FSM can prompt or attach by default.

How to customize

Replace placeholders:

  • [Name] → Customer or tech name
  • [time] → Arrival time (e.g., "2:00 PM" or "in 30 minutes")
  • [link] → Job link or tracking URL

Avoid these mistakes:

  • Don't use overly aggressive language (e.g., "URGENT: Payment due now!")
  • Don't use confusing abbreviations or jargon
  • Don't make promises you can't keep (e.g., "We'll be there in 10 minutes" if it's not realistic)

How to use it

  1. Use this list for every job (not just some jobs).
  2. Take 'before' photos before starting work (proof of the issue).
  3. Take 'during' photos of key steps (proof of what was done).
  4. Take 'after' photos showing finished work and clean area.
  5. Store photos with the job record (not in separate texts or emails).

Common tweaks

  • Add specific photos for your service type.
  • Add photos of customer approval if needed.
  • Add photos of warranty info if applicable.
  • Add photos of special conditions if relevant.
